The Federal Archives offer a wide a range of services. They include assisting the administration with managing and archiving its information, helping users with their searches in the Archives’ fonds, and carrying out research on historical topics.
Archives Portal Europe
The Archives Portal Europe is the gateway to Europe’s archival resources. Since it was launched in 2012, hundreds of archival institutions from all over Europe have supplied the portal with archival materials and general information about themselves. The Swiss Federal Archives are responsible for administering the portal in Switzerland and support Swiss institutions that wish to participate.
Archival publications
Publications by the Swiss Federal Archives on appraisal, electronic business administration and digital archiving are available here in German as well as, in some cases, in English, French and Italian.
